COMPOSITION :

Each 100 ml contains :

Amprolium HCL …………........25g

TARGET SPECIES:

Poultry, Turkeys, Calves, Lambs and Kids.

INDICATIONS :

PROLIUM is used as a therapeutic agent against Eimeria

infections in poultry, in particular

1. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina and E. praecox. It is

effective against coccidiosis in calves, lambs and kids.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Administer orally in drinking water or in replacement milk .

DOSAGE :

Poultry and turkeys :

Severe cases : 100 ml /100 l of drinking water during 5

consecutive days .

Moderate cases : 50 ml / 100 l of drinking water during 5

consecutive days.

Medicated drinking water should be the only source of

water during the treatment period.

Calves, Lambs, Goats:

2 ml/12.5 kg B wt ( 40 mg of amprolium / kg B wt ) mixed

with milk for 5 - 7 days.

FORMS OF INTERACTIONS:

Amprolium is an anticoccidial belonging to the family of

thiamine analogues. As a result, the efficacy of amprolium

can be reduced by the concomitant administration of

products containing vitamin B complexes.
